Print Style Guide
Why have a graphic identity?
A strong visual image serves to position the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a leader in higher education. Consistent use of the identity enhances the world’s recognition of who we are, and visually reinforces our reputation for quality and leadership. This manual will help everyone adhere to the usage guidelines.
The key to success for any graphic identity program is for the identity to replace any logos that previously existed and to use it on all stationery, printed materials, Web sites, videos, and digital media. It includes a family of logos for the University, the College of Arts & Sciences, schools and other units.
Use of the identity is managed by the Office of University Relations (919.962.2011) and Xerox Printing Operations (formally UNC Printing). If you have questions, please contact one of these offices.
The implementation of the graphic identity is yet another example of the University’s commitment to excellence.
